In today’s competitive small kitchen appliance market, offering the same products as every other brand is often not enough. Importers, distributors and appliance brands increasingly need exclusive products that reflect their own market positioning and solve specific consumer needs.

At Yumyth, we do more than manufacture existing products. We work closely with our customers to turn product ideas into practical, manufacturable and market-ready appliances.

The following are three examples of products we have successfully co-developed with our customers: two vacuum sealers with an integrated date-printing function and a high-capacity nugget ice maker producing up to 20 kg of ice per 24 hours.

Why Our Customers Needed Exclusive Products

Many customers begin by selecting a product from our existing vacuum sealer or ice maker range. However, after studying their target markets, they may require something different, such as:

  • A new function that is not commonly available
  • A different product structure or appearance
  • Stronger vacuum performance
  • A more compact design
  • Higher daily ice production
  • Customized control panels and operating programs
  • Exclusive colors, logos, packaging or accessories
  • A product developed specifically for their brand or sales channel

When a customer shares these requirements with us, our engineering and product development teams evaluate the concept and help transform it into a workable solution.

Case 1: –95 kPa Handle Vacuum Sealer with Date Printing

One of our customers wanted to develop a premium vacuum sealer that combined strong vacuum performance with improved food-storage management.

The basic product concept was a handle-style vacuum sealer with vacuum pressure reaching up to –95 kPa. The handle structure makes it convenient to lock the machine securely, while the powerful vacuum system is suitable for users who require reliable and frequent vacuum sealing.

The customer also wanted the appliance to offer more than conventional vacuuming and sealing. Therefore, we worked together to integrate a date-printing function into the machine.

This additional function allows users to print important storage information when vacuum packing food. Depending on the selected printing format, the printed information can help users identify packing or storage dates more easily.

By combining vacuum sealing and date identification in one appliance, the finished product offers a clearer point of differentiation from standard household vacuum sealers.

Case 2: Compact Chamber Vacuum Sealer with Integrated Date Printing

For another project, the customer wanted the date-printing concept to be incorporated into a more compact chamber vacuum sealer.

Compact appliances are particularly attractive to consumers with limited kitchen space, but reducing the product size creates additional engineering challenges. The internal layout must accommodate the vacuum system, sealing components, control system and printing mechanism without making operation inconvenient.

Working with the customer, we developed a compact chamber vacuum sealer that combines vacuum packing and date printing within one product.

This model demonstrates that product differentiation does not always require a completely new appliance category. Adding a useful function to a familiar product can create a more distinctive solution for a specific market.

The result was not simply a standard vacuum sealer with a different logo. It was a customized product developed around the customer’s target users, preferred product positioning and functional requirements.

Case 3: 20 kg/24h Nugget Ice Maker

Our customization experience also extends to cooling appliances.

A customer approached us with a requirement for a household nugget ice maker with greater production capacity. Nugget ice—also known as chewable ice—is popular because of its soft, porous texture and its ability to absorb the flavor of beverages.

To meet the customer’s requirements, we worked together to develop a nugget ice maker capable of producing up to 20 kg of ice per 24 hours.

Developing a higher-output nugget ice maker requires careful consideration of the ice-making system, water circulation, heat dissipation, internal structure, user operation and long-term performance. The product must deliver the required capacity while remaining suitable for the intended household or light-commercial application.

Through product development, prototype evaluation and performance optimization, the customer’s initial idea was turned into a market-ready nugget ice maker with a clear competitive

More Than Logo and Color Customization

OEM customization is sometimes understood as simply adding a customer’s logo or changing the product color. These services are available, but our development capabilities go further.

Depending on the project, we can support customers with:

  • Product appearance and structural design
  • New function development
  • Vacuum performance customization
  • Ice production capacity optimization
  • Control panel and program customization
  • Color, finish and material selection
  • Logo, rating label and instruction manual design
  • Customized accessories and packaging
  • Prototype development and testing
  • Product improvement based on customer feedback

We already offer a wide selection of vacuum sealers, ice makers, slush machines and other small appliances. These existing models can provide a reliable starting point for customization, helping customers reduce development time and risk.

For customers seeking a more exclusive product, we can also evaluate deeper ODM development according to the target market, price positioning, sales channel and expected order volume.

Our Co-Development Process

A custom appliance project usually begins with a discussion about the customer’s idea and commercial objectives.

1. Requirement Discussion

The customer shares the desired functions, appearance, performance, target price, market, certification requirements and estimated order quantity.

2. Feasibility Evaluation

Our product and engineering teams review the requirements and evaluate the structure, components, technical feasibility, development cost and expected timeline.

3. Product Proposal

Based on the evaluation, we recommend an existing platform for modification or propose a new development solution.

4. Prototype and Testing

Samples or prototypes are produced for functional testing and customer evaluation. Necessary improvements are made according to the test results and customer feedback.

5. Production Preparation

After the product is confirmed, we proceed with component preparation, packaging development, quality standards and mass-production planning.

6. Mass Production and Quality Control

The customized product is manufactured according to the confirmed specifications and inspected throughout the production process.

Your Product Idea Could Be Our Next Development Project

The three cases above started with customers sharing a specific market need: stronger vacuum performance, integrated date printing, a more compact structure or higher nugget ice production.

If you are looking for a product that is different from standard market offerings, you do not need to begin with a complete technical drawing. Tell us what you want the product to achieve, who the target users are and how you want it to be positioned.

Our team can help evaluate the idea, recommend a suitable product platform and develop a practical OEM or ODM solution.

Whether you need a customized vacuum sealer, nugget ice maker, slush machine or another small appliance, we are ready to work with you from the initial concept to mass production.
